Day 1 Arrival – Sidi bou Said
Welcome to Tunisia! After landing, you will meet our representative and drive to the charming city of Sidi Bou Said.
Check in at charming hotel Dar Said
The rest of the day is at your leisure to wander around this unique village. You’ll marvel at the blue damask portals, doors, and windows that are reminiscent of an Andalusian Arab town. Enjoy dinner in the city, and contemplate the exciting Tunisian journey ahead!
Day 2 Bardo Museum – Carthage

Day 2 Bardo Museum – Carthage
Your first full day in Tunisia will be packed with exploring! Start at the Bardo Museum in nearby Tunis. Located in a 15th-century Beylic palace, it contains one of the world’s most extensive mosaic collections and many other impressive exhibitions.
After lunch, travel back in time to the ancient city of Carthage, one of the most significant archeological sites in the country. It was founded in the 9th century by the Phoenicians and now contains many Punic ruins. You’ll see the former citadel atop Byrsa Hill, which was once the city’s military center. You can visit the Thermal Baths of Antonin, which are some of the largest in Africa. Head back to Sidi Bou Said for dinner and overnight .
Day 3 Hammamet - Sousse

Day 3 Hammamet - Sousse
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll make your way to Hammamet. This now vibrant city was once a fortified village used to warn the rest of the country of attack. Today it is a coastal town where you can immerse yourself in culture, history, and nature.
Have lunch in the city before heading to Sousse, one of the country’s oldest cities. The town’s Medina is genuinely unique and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, visit the Sousse Architectural Museum. It’s located in the 11th-century kasbah and includes some stunning Roman mosaics.

Day 4 El Jem – Sfax

Day 4 El Jem – Sfax
This morning depart Sousse for the quiet town of El Jem. While here, you will visit the remarkable colosseum. It is nearly as big as the one in Rome and is said to hold 35,000 people. It is constructed entirely from stone blocks with no foundations and demonstrates the ingenuity and grandeur of ancient Rome. Next, you’ll drive to the port town of Sfax.

Day 5 : Gabes – Chott el Jerid - Tozeur

Day 5 : Gabes – Chott el Jerid - Tozeur
Today make the journey to Tozeur, an oasis of palm trees creating a sea of green in the middle of the desert. Drive along the coast and pass through the port town of Gabes and the stunning oasis towns of El Hamma and Kebili.
After lunch, visit Chott el jerid, a massive endorheic salt lake. Once you reach Tozeur, check in at Diar Habibi guest house and enjoy dinner.
Day 6: Tamerza – Chebika - Mides

Day 6: Tamerza – Chebika - Mides
Start the day with an adventure to the mountain oases of Tamerza, Chebika, and Mides. These beautiful oases are all unique from another and will not fail to impress. Stop along the coast at Chez Mounir for lunch before heading back to Tozeur.
In the afternoon, visit The Dar Chraiet Museum, one of the best and most interesting in Tunisia. A replica of the type of wealthy residence found in northern Tunisia; the museum houses an art collection dating f rom the 17th to the 20th centuries.
Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 7: Tozeur

Day 7: Tozeur
This morning take a horse and carriage ride through the serene palm tree groves of Tozeur. Along the way, learn about date production, one of the most important agricultural industries in Tunisia. Next, walk through the Medina, or old city, and marvel at the traditional architecture. You’ll enjoy lunch with local dishes at an authentic restaurant or family home.
This afternoon and evening will be at your leisure to explore the city.

Day 8: Sbeitla – Kesra – Makthar Le Kef

Day 8: Sbeitla – Kesra – Makthar Le Kef
After breakfast, begin your journey to Testour. First, stop in Sbeitla and discover some of the most remarkably preserved Roman ruins in Tunisia. Here you’ll visit three temples dedicated to Minerva, Jupiter, and Juno, the gods who protected Rome
Proceed , through a scenic route to the berber village of Kesra and visit after lunch , proceed to El Kef and visit its sumptuous fort and medina
Check at Dar Saida guest house , dinner and overnight
Day 9: Testour – Dougga

Day 9: Testour – Dougga
after breakfast ,start by exploring Testour, an entirely different type of village. It is reminiscent of what you might find in Southern Europe with a beautiful open square dotted with blue and white shopfronts.
This distinct style comes from the wave of displaced Andalusians who settled the area at the end of the 11th century, bringing with them Spanish architectural styles.
After lunch, continue to visit the famous Dougga archeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage area, and one full of substantial remains of this once flourishing settlement overlooking the Wadi Khaled Valley.
Proceed to the farm Vergers de Montagne , visit the farm and enjoy an authentic local dinner , overnight at your lodge
Day 10: Tabarka

Day 10: Tabarka
On this day, you will head for Tabarka. Built at the start of the French Protectorate, it is a small town where the forest meets the ocean. See the characteristic silhouette of the Genoese Fort, perched upon an islet, the emblem of Tabarka. Take a stroll to the charming marina or visit the famous jewelers who make exquisite coral creatio ns. Enjoy the thalasso spa centers or take a walk on the beach.
After lunch, proceed to Sejnane and see firsthand this small village’s famous pottery. All stages of the pottery-making process are performed by women, who occupy a special place in their community. They produce terracotta artifacts for the home, including cooking utensils, dolls, and animal figurines, inspired by the surrounding environment. Purchase some unique souvenirs to take home before heading to dinner.
Day 11: Lake Ichkeul – Utique – Medina of Tunis

Day 11: Lake Ichkeul – Utique – Medina of Tunis
On day eleven, you’ll begin your journey back to Tunis. On the way, visit Lake Ichkeul, where you can enjoy some light hiking as you discover the lake’s vibrant ecosystem and abundant wildlife.
Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant and sample many Tunisian delicacies.
In the afternoon, visit the important archaeological site of Utique. Many believe it was founded in 1101 B.C., making it even older than Carthage

Day 12: Departure

Day 12: Departure
Today marks the end of your Tunisia journey! After breakfast, you will head to the airport for your flight h ome.
